They won’t validate or send me proof.

If you have an issues getting a company to respond to your requests or validate debts…. You can attack the procedure or business practices by using the BBB. This is an excellent tool to get documents validated or even item removed from your credit report.

Just explain in details what occurred e.g. this company would not send me proof of the contract I signed and I do not owe them any money.  You can mention how they are using deceptive means to collect debt and in violation of FDCP. Just give detail information.

The trick is to file a complaint online and to state your desired resolution you are seeking: Deletion of the account or proof of contract.

Once you file that complain you need to fax them a disclosure approving agreement to speed up the process.  I can look like this:

I, (Name), hereby authorize the Better Business Bureau view and receive private information regarding my complaint with (company). This authorization releases (company) and the Better Business Bureau from any liability and violation of privacy pursuant to all Federal and State law, in regards to the disclosure of any information or/communication to the Better Business Bureau.

Sign and date this letter and fax it to the BBB you are dealing with.
