It is best to have the owner to remove an authorized user account instead of disputing the account with the credit. However, please take into account that it will affect your utilization ratio of all your accounts and usually will drop your score.
Also some credit bureaus will delete without cause and others especially Experian will close the account with a zero balance and show that the card was terminated. Â Terminated actually means that the account has a zero balance, closed and this will have the exact same effect on your score as a closed account.
It appears that these entries will not affect your score after one year to two years depending on if the account was actually used. If the credit card was used by you, they will definitely as of late show the account terminated. There is no remedy to have these removed from your credit report unless you can show that they were issues with your name fraudulently.
